Tennis Court Floodlighting in Watford

Tennis players track a small, fast ball against the sky, so court lighting has to be even from baseline to baseline with no glare when players look up to serve or smash. That usually means LED floodlights on columns along the sides of the court, aimed to keep light on the playing area and off nearby houses. We work with leading sports lighting manufacturers to get the right lux and uniformity for club or match play, in line with LTA lighting guidance, and produce the light spill plots planning officers ask for. We give you a fixed price for supply and installation, including the armoured supply from the clubhouse, the distribution board and the controls, from simple timers to switching linked to your court booking system. Switching existing courts from old metal halide floodlights to LED typically cuts running costs dramatically and gives instant switch-on, with no warm-up wait between sessions.
